Matthew Ambrosio is a native New Yorker from Long Island. Ever since a young child he had the urges to be creative. Writing short stories, drawing, dancing, singing and playing musical instruments were just some of the ways he spent his childhood, the other half was at the beach with siblings. Much of his skill and talent is derived from his family tree. Both sides of his family contribute to his desire to create. On his mothers side are seamstresses, designers, hat makers, shoemakers, pattern makers and more. The paternal side is composed of journalists, modern artists, craftsman, photographers and painters. With an MBA and never formally trained in art or design Matthew feels totally comfortable in his line of work, it just comes natural.
As a creative professional with a diverse talent set he holds the titles of designer entrepreneur, published writer, beauty expert and international professional makeup artist. Prior to working in the style world Matthew was a Wall St. professional who desired more than a ritual nine to fiver life. Since then he has made a name for himself in the style and beauty industry, imparting his wisdom in such fields as educator for Make-Up Artist magazine at the International Makeup Artist Trade Show in California, NYC and London, executive education roles in the retail cosmetics market, featured artist/spokesperson for national beauty retailer Wantable.com, published lifestyle writer for leading NY publication Pulse magazine, a fashion/beauty editor for LIVINGOUT magazine and lifestyle writer for Chicago's urban style publication USTYLEU. Matthew's hubristic pride is derived from working with everyday women and men, not celebrities, so that he can help them feel their absolute best by making their outer beauty match their inner beauty. No topic is off limits to Matthew, as he is considered a guru on many levels.

When asked about focus points for 2015, Matthew does not believes in limitation and happily balances artistry, writing and design as well as his newest title of college professor with ease because he loves all that he does and never will choose. The future holds great things which include diversifying his line of fashion, undertaking new writing assignments with national and international publications, continuing his work as a professional makeup artist domestically and abroad and accepting future assignments to mentor and educate young college students. Matthew is a true believer that one should never stop learning because to think one is all know really mean one knows nothing.
